Jordan Brand pays homage to one of the best NCAA Championship battles that MJ ever competed on and the game that jumpstarted his legacy to make the brand and history of sneakers what it is today. It took place back in 1982 and was a Match against Michael Jordan vs. Patrick Ewing to major college players on there own time. Jumpman23 takes us back to Jordan's college glory days and designs the Retro 11 to represent the event that made history in it's own way. The 1982 NCAA battle was the first college championship to be broadcast over CBS and was also the larges crowd participant with 61,000 setters, and was the larges game watched in the Western Hemisphere. It all ended with an amazing jump shoot by MJ and a bad turnover by Georgetown which gave North Carolina the claim of Champs.
The shoe is dressed in a Georgetown color way with a Wolf Grey and Navy Blue color scheme, it will be build on a mesh on patted leather body, and hits a midsole white sole, all while sitting atop a translucent bottom sole, branded with all the original Retro 11 brandings and sits as a low cut model for those who don't need an ankle support.
This shoe has been completely sold out, but I hope you enjoy the history and images, Remember to Like, Share, and Comment, Stay Fresh !
